Kevin D. O’Dell

Kevin D. O’Dell is a founding member of the Firm, Raneri, Light, & O’Dell. He was admitted to the New York Bar in January 1991 after passing the July 1990 Bar Exam having graduated from Pace University School of Law in June 1990 where he was President of the Student Bar Association. Mr. O’Dell has specialized in trial practice for 25 years and enjoys selecting juries and trying cases. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. O’Dell was employed with Motorola Communications, Inc. and earned the award of Salesman of the Year for 1986 as he enjoys meeting and speaking before large groups of people, a necessary tool for a trial attorney which many do not possess.

Mr. O’Dell handles complex and significant personal injury matters representing Plaintiff and Defense clientele, as well as many various insurance carriers during his career. Mr. O’Dell has litigated product liability cases against General Motors, American Honda Motor Corp; Subaru; Beach Body of California (P90X Manufacturer/Distributor); Procter & Gamble/Braun; John Deere; JLG; and a variety of other manufacturers, sellers, and distributors of dangerous and defective products. Mr. O’Dell works with attorneys nationwide on a variety of legal matters.

Mr. O’Dell is admitted to the New York and New Jersey (1990) Bars, the Southern District of New York and Eastern District of New York.

Mr. O’Dell has been a guest lecturer for the American Arbitration Association regarding No Fault and Arbitration issues, has lectured for State Farm Insurance regarding medical and No Fault Issues, and other entities regarding legal matters.
